Astrophotography workshop by Mars Education at Stargate observatory is India’s only workshop where students not only visit an observatory, but also use professional class telescopes and astrophotography cameras to shoot high resolution professional quality images. The above image is an example of photos taken by school students. Stargate observatory is equipped with a 11 inch Hyperstar imaging system with a Nikon d810a camera which is best equipment in its class.
Kausani, which was called Switzerland of India by Mahatma Gandhi is a peaceful hill station in Kumaon region of Uttrakhand. One can see a panaromic view of Himalayan peaks like Trishul, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Panchachuli. The night sky in Kausani is better than any area on plains and one can see milkyway clearly with naked eye.
